I have a Metro Air Force Blaster that I bought at a motorcycle show back in 2009. I think it was $132.00 back then (expensive!). It was one of those impulse buys, I did not need it, just wanted it.....

I can tell you that I have used it and it has worked without issue ever since. It is a good tool for drying you bike or trike; gets the water out of all the nooks and crannies, and is a lot easier than towels/rags/old Tshirts......

I never used a leaf blower for this job, so I can not really offer a comparison....Sorry.

The only advise I will give, if you get one, is make sure you get one that has wheels and rolls....its a lot better in its use if it rolls.

Have one from a pet shop ,same as HD but cheaper. Works great

My wife use to breed and show Golden Retrievers and had a pretty powerful blow dryer. She doesn't show dogs anymore so I took over the use of the dryer = fantastic piece of equipment. Don't have to ride 80 mph down the street to dry it off anymore.

H-D unit is way over priced - Duh!!

I have used a Cycle Dryer from Clean Cycle Products for the last 10 years. I got the wall mount which comes with an extra 10' hose. Unlike leaf blowers the cycle dryer filters and warms the air.Clean Cycle also has a great line of cleaning and detail products. http://www.cleancycle.com/

Whatever you decide make sure it is filtered air. Can be possible for debris to go thru machine and act as a sandblaster. JMO

Mine Vacuums' and Blows warm air . The unit mounts to the wall and has a hose that is plenty long . Its not a HD Unit

Thanks Mutha. I don't use water unless the bike is really dirty. I use the waterless spray cleaner. I was just giving the dryer/blower some thought......

Watched that video. Looks like they used the whole bottle of top coat to wash a bike that looked spotlessly clean in the first place. At $60.00 a bottle I think Ill pass on that one

A film of dirt and lite coating of road salt is a better paint protector then the average bike wax..There was a side by side blind field test done by the University of Oklahoma' Field testing facility at the Hagens Troboge campus....
