Check engine light came on and seems to be running fine but I’m sure light didn’t come on for no reason so if anyone could help on what to check I would thank you so much and I’m not a mechanic so could use the help

Hi Paul, you will have to have a scan of your ECM done to reveal the diagnostic trouble code

If you do not have a scanner now would be a good time to get one

You can find them fairly cheap @ Walmart and Harbor Freight

You may also get one of your local auto parts stores like Oriellys or AutoZone to scan it for you

Once you have the codes post them here for more help

welcome get the error code any auto store will check it for free. did the light come on after you filled up with gas. mine does this every once in awhlie. when i fill up the check engine light will come on, goes off after a few times of starting the engine.
