My rider complains about the leaning position she has to assume in order to get the benefit of her back rest. She claims that her body has to lean to far back and it is not comfortable. Does anyone have the same claim or an answer for us on this subject?: Shrug:

welcome aboard. Look at the thread for the lift kits for Tri-Glides. This might solve the issue. If the whole rearend is lifted a couple of inches the lean back feeling becomes smaller. Just a thought. The ones that put the kit on swear about how good they are.

The tourpak has two standard mounting locations. They usually come with the tourpak located so that it is as far back as possible. If she simple needs the back support closer, move it to the forward mounts. If the angle is wrong for her, any shop that does seats can adjust the shape. There are also add on pads, vented etc. that may also help.

My wife liked the tourpac rails because in the far back position, she could lean back even further! And....not to keep preachin' about 'em, but the passenger road pegs from Kuryaken could make it more comfortable also,,, She can move her legs further forward and or up higher to settle back in the seat better. I also got her the Corbin passenger backrest with the arm rests about 4" longer than the stock arm rests. She is really happy now. Have to bungee cord her down so she won't fall out while sleeping. I know she is back there cuz I can hear her snoring.

You have a good problem. Normally people have to move them back for passenger comfort. Pull your tourpak liner. It's probably in the front set of holes. Moving it to the back set of holes will move the tourpak forward. If that's not enough, make a template of the hole pattern in the bottom plate and drill new holes. simple to fix. no need to buy anything!!

My wife was getting pretty bad back pain when riding on the trike, I couldn't figure out what was going on until I did a side by side comparison against my 2006 Ultra Classic which she has never had a problem with. I found the tour-pak on the Triglide was not supporting her back properly due to the strange tilted angle its mounted at. I bought a set of rails from Tglidetuff.com which leveled the tour-pak and made it sit just like on my 06 Ultra.

Trent, How do you like the Kury passenger pegs? I,m looking for something like that for my Grandaughters. They can"t reach the boards,. They need an additional 4 inches. Can the pegs be mounted so they are up but angled back? Thanks, Willie

The tallest position is straight up.. but they will not angle back. The straight up position might make 'em tall enough for the kids to reach. That position is too tall for my wife.

Hey Paw Paw...Yup!... Part #4353. I measured it too. From the floorboard to the top of the footpeg in the straight up position is 7". That should work well for the Kids I would think.
