Iso Grips

Anyone have the Iso grips on their trikes? Saw a pair at the HD shop last night (ladies garage party).....with that and the cramp busters maybe my thumbs won't go to 'sleep' on me!

I think it's all an individual's taste for the ISO grips.

If you are looking for a larger grip in diameter than stock this is a good one.

The built in or bolt on cramp buster is short and won't get caught on a bracelet or long sleeve where the original "Cramp Busters" are longer or longer and wider will.

I used a cramp buster for a long time but when I changed to a trike I saw immediately there was a hazard especially when you turn hard while parking or turning a corner at a light. It caused me to rev the motor by grabbing my jacket sleeve and or my medical id bracelet.

I use these

Stealth Grip which is the same diameter as stock and I use these on my trike and SEFB

Or these

X2 Grip which has a very nice feel as your fingers will fit over the "smooth corners". If you look at these they will look almost square but have rounded edges that feel as great as they look. I had them on an RK and a Dyna.

This is just what I do, others will have their own preferences though.

I had the Flames grips on my Electra-Glide...am out of the 'flames' as I went gunho on other bikes.<br />

Will check out the Stealth grips tomorrow at the Harley shop.<br />

We have both the ISO Grips and their version of the Cramp Buster on all three of our trikes. The ISO Grip bolt-on version of the Cramp Buster is much smaller and does not extend nearly as far out from the grip; there is no way for it to snag anything. Wouldn't be without either of them.

I have the ISOs on my 'Wing and love 'em..Had them on my '97 too. But you DO need to check closely...I've got pretty big hands...

I decided to go with the Iso grips w/built-in cradle. The diameter isn't much larger than stock (I have big hands/long fingers). <br />

IHP...the 'reach' clutch and brake levers are designed to be closer to the grips. I turned my levers up so that I didn't have to reach over to pull in clutch and brake. But, the mirrors are attached to the apparatus and I now have one mirror misadjusted.

Ordered the levers from HD, didn't get the part number...they had a pair on display, but not for the right model.
