Hi everyone,
I'm not a Stallion owner, yet, but it's definitely got my attention. I used to enjoy riding a Honda GL1800 Goldwing to far-flung locations. Unfortunately, I developed a mild case of MS, and the legs just aren't strong enough anymore. It's just too dangerous to ride on two wheels. So, I've been looking for good options. To date, the best options appeared to be either the Safe-Stop retractable "landing gear" or a trike conversion kit. Then, I happened upon a small blurb about the Stallion. This thing just looks too cool for school.
I had a lot of reservations about a Stallion early on, but through this forum and other sources I'm learning that the options and accessories that I would want are either already available or pretty darned close. The main things that I was concerned about were intercom, CB, GPS, and maybe an auxiliary audio input to plug in my iPhone. (I'm a gadget freak, I admit.) It seems like most of this has already been answered for. So, I'm getting more and more into the idea of a Stallion.
Now, the one thing that I have *not* seen yet is a good piece of video showing how this baby handles on some twisty mountain roads. Can anyone point me to anything like that? The reviews I've ready speak kindly of the handling capability, but there's little substitute for seeing the machine in action - speaking for itself.
I'll be lurking around, reading, and soaking up information. I just thought I'd introduce myself. Hopefully, I'll find my solution very soon.
Ride safe!
Dave
