The Roadstar manual calls for:
On the side stand:
0.30-0.51 inches of deflection when 10 lbs of force is applied.
On a suitable stand:
0.55-0.83 inches of deflection when 10 lbs of force is applied.
I'd go with the side stand number since that is with the suspension loaded. the belt tension changes on a stand because the rear suspension will droop resulting in a looser belt 'cause the swing arm pivot is behind the center of the front sprocket.
I take mine to the champion dealer, it's the easiest and best way to go when in dought.
