SWEET!!
Thanks
Yes. My Speedo is spot on with my GPS as well.

My GPS and Hannigan are dead on accurate now.
Great question, answers, and sharing of experiences.
We were able to correct the Speedo vs. actual MPH issues on the Venture Trikes (prior was off 4-8 mph depending) a little over 2 years ago. We achieved the correction with a combination of a change in overall Tire/Wheel diameter and re-design of the Speed Sensor Ring on the front of the Differential.
Good Job Hannigan!!!!
I have a new question. I have about 3,000 miles on my Venture conversion. Rode 500 highway miles two weeks ago and noticed fresh oil on the left muffler. Looked under and found that it was dripping from the differential over flow. So I thought maybe it was overfilled. Cleaned everything off and rode 300 miles this weekend and it has the same oil coming from the overflow vent hose. It blew oil so bad it was all over the muffler from front to back. What should I do?
Interesting question as I too have encountered this. Especially after a long run at highway speeds. No real oil dripping but more like soot. Pretty sure it's from the vent cap on the differential. Checked before to see if it could of been from the crankcase vent tubes hanging below the bikes frame. Was checking that thinking engine oil over filled.
Basically it appears that there's just enough oil vapor escaping to stick and then gets dust forming a film. Only happens at extended highway speeds & miles so haven't really worried much.

Alright, is this something I should be watching for?

Larry, yes I checked the crankcase hose as this is what I had thought at first. but u can see a drop from the Dif hose and smells like Dif oil.
updated more info on my 1st post here.
Bones,
At this point, no cause for serious alarm but it does need to be discussed and explored further.
Please call in and ask for Jim Gooch our Chief Trike Tech.
We will go from there and I will post what follows here so all can stay in "the Loop" on this one.

In the end, I may ask Bazooka to move this part of this Thread to the "Hannigan Information Desk" Thread in our Sponsor Section so it can be seen by all and be easily referenced in the future.

Thanks for posting the situation

P.s. Bones has indeed posted the Question in the Hannigan Information Desk Thread as well. We will address the situation there from this point on. Please go to that Thread for updates as this progresses.
