In viewing the map, looks like the Birmingham area would be pretty central to the majority of folks. We wouldn't have to gather in the city though, it could be the surrounding area in any direction. March or early April timeframe before everything starts happening. Thoughts?

My wife and I look forward to an Alabama get-together. And since we've tagged along on several of the Tennessee gang's rides, I'm pleased to see Scooter and Mitzie hopefully lined up. We're just on the West-side edge of Huntsville (Harvest, AL) so anything in the northern section of AL will be wonderful for us. Dates are flexible as well so y'all just pick one and we'll work with it.

I look forward to seeing all in April!! :clapping:

So as a preliminary idea, we could meet at and tour the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum then take a ride down AL 25 to Bigman's to eat. Check out the links and tell me what you think:

Thank you for the insight, I've never been and would hate to rush through it myself.

We could just meet there and continue with the rest of the plan. That would provide more opportunity to hang out.

I'm anxious to post in the events section to boost the exposure and hopefully participation from Alabama and neighboring areas.

I like the idea of the ride but personally would rather skip the Museum as my main interest would be the ride, meeting everyone, a meal, and more riding and/or visiting some quaint little town with shops (similar to Lynchburg, Tn). Just a thought. Ride Safe. Doc ThumbUp

Well, no one else showed up but it wasn't a total loss. I was able to hook up with the 40 to Phoenix group, met some very nice folks who invited me to hangout with them. We toured the museum (which was my first time), took some laps around the track (which was freakin' awesome!), and generally had a great day!"
