Has anyone ever experimented with changing the stock exhaust that comes with the motor trike conversion on a 1990 1500 goldwing? I want something that has a rumble to it, not as loud as a harley though.

Found these on the VTXOA site store. Sounds like what you want.
Torq Master Part Number: TOR-1500H - Direct Line Parts
I had those on my wing before triking, THEY SOUND GREAT, CSC conversion uses a totally new system so I sold them, highly recommend the sound just enough to make you hear the power!
A Friend of mine had a set of mufflers that he gave me to try---they were as if they had been built especially for my champion trike . Just slide right on. (they are actually about 4 inches longer, just enough i can't shut the toy hauler door without taking the pipe tips off )
They sounded pretty good but for a rattle in one of them, Turned out it was one of the baffles loose. We took the baffles out and it's loud but i like it going down the road so am leaving on for a while. Do you need to make any adjustments to the FI or does it automatically adjust to the freer exhaust ?

Our FI is none adjustable unless you add a PCIII and have the bike tuned or download a map. Add the K&N filter and let it breath a little better and that will help also.
Which slip-ons are they? The Cobras I have do not have removable tips. One solid can. Shoot a pic if ya can.
