Did some modification to one to make it fit the Freewheeler with hopes of reducing a bit of the updraft. Seems to have made a very slight difference not as much as had hoped.

Red,
A picture (or two) would help

Ask and you shall receive;
Drilled new holes to match bolt pattern, used 1/4" longer bolts and used 1/4" spacers so that it would clear the braked lines. Like I stated earlier made a very slight difference that I could notice. Worth doing? Probably not but wanted to try to see if it would help with the updraft. Hopefully JES is working on the fork mounted wind deflectors.
Red,
I'm interested in your research, since I have a similar set-up ( http://www.triketalk.com/forum/threa...l=1#post315181 ) but my 16" windshield is H-D, not LRS.
I also agree with your conclusion ~ slowly, Freewheeler accessories will seep into the marketplace.
