Comin' down the backside of Monteagle Mountain into Roarkes Cove outside Alto, Tn, is a very twisty, 12 feet to 10 feet wide little 4.5 mile, 12% grade, shoulderless "Road". It has a posted speed limit of 20 mph (Non-locals can rarely achieve this in most spots), with lotsa' U-Turns, and posted 10 mph curves. It has only one gravel pull-off, and an overhead powerline that the area teenagers like to throw shoes over, causin' the road to be shut down a few times per year for "Shoe Closet Cleaning". My Pictures cannot convey it's steepness, or the fact that as the asphalt almost drops away from Your Tires over each blind rise, the road abruptly leaves You going into another blind U-Turn as You drop over a crest...but a few previews.....

"Believe the Signs, and heed em"......at the RALLY a coupla' Folks asked if I get to ride curves in my area, and do they bother me....I answered "YES" and "NO".....
