Wow Tom....really glad Ya'll get those instead of us....Our 10" is waaaay more than normal here........Yes, katfish, it's called SNOW, although I've heard it called "other things" by this third day.....

Just saw on the news that for the first time - at least in recent history - there was fresh snow on the ground in 49 of the 50 states.

Only Florida did not receive any snow today!

After the snow was over yesterday and I cleared a path to the street, I took the trike out. Learned a couple of things about 3-wheel snow riding. Only use the rear brakes. The front one locks right up. If you do use the front brake, the stopped wheel steers with counter-steering. I rode 27 miles to work today and only the last road in front of my office was severely iced up.

After the snow was over yesterday and I cleared a path to the street, I took the trike out. Learned a couple of things about 3-wheel snow riding. Only use the rear brakes. The front one locks right up. If you do use the front brake, the stopped wheel steers with counter-steering. I rode 27 miles to work today and only the last road in front of my office was severely iced up.

I would probably do this except my driveway at the Junk Yard is really long, and still has 8+ inches of snow/ice coverin' the full distance....

Skuuter, those pics just reaffirm why I left ohio and am spending the next three months at our hidaway here in florida. I just posted some pics in my profile we took this past week while our son visited from ohio. It was a little chilly last week, mid 60, but we are back up to mid 70s now.
