"Been down so long that it looks like up to me" !!!
That's just plain daft
Don't know how but it's been piloted around Missouri for several years
Man that is rediculas looking! I have 16 inch apes on my roadking-the older I get the harder it is on the shoulers and elbows. I bet this dude cant ride that thing more than 50 miles at a time.

It looks just plain stupid and he probably thinks he looks COOL
Saw a young kid roll out of the Harley Dealer parking lot like that a few years back. The salesman and I stood in the showroom looking out having laughs at his expense.

Personally I find them amusing. I don't know how the cops wouldn't pull him over every day. My rotator cuffs hurt just looking at those apes!
In North Dakota the laws state the handlebars can be no higher than your shoulders. I've seen a few around that are a bit higher and if they see a LEO they just sit up real straight. I can remember a few friends having apes and saying as they got older they replaced them as their hands would go numb and the shoulders would ache. To each his own but I wonder how much real control of the bike they have with the hands way up and arms outstreached so far.
Arizonna's the same way. No higher than the shoulders but I have seen a few questionable ones also. Don't think they'll stop you unless they want to give you a hard time. It does give them a reason.
if you go back in history , biker gangs used ape hangers so that they could stand on the boards/pegs during confrontations with others , was said to give more sharp lean control.
almost like a kid riding a sidewalk scooter
Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile.

You guys have it all wrong think of the money he will save on underarm deodorant, and the 360 degree spin through the bars if he hits anything, Ha,Ha.
What is even more scary than that picture is to be in close proximity to him and that bike! I have had the misfortune to be near it over the years and it scares me to death. that guy is NOT very tall and I would bet that the foam in the seat will never wear out, he is hanging from the bars barely touching the seat. I have no idea how he stays alive riding that thing and I do my best to stay far far away from that thing.
Saw that a while back when in St. Louis. Passed me on the highway, was glad there wasn't much traffic. Was paying more attention to this bike that my driving.
Check out the left handlebar. Doesn't look to be a clutch lever. Suicide clutch and jockey shift. He had to take a hand off the bars to change gear. That would scare the shift right out of me.
