More than my house when I bought it.
I just tell them what they go for.
You could just ask them "How much do you weigh"???

And get punched in the snoot??? Wow, you're a glutton for punishment!!
I tell them I don't know, it was a Christmas present from my girl friend.
I usually tell them the cost of the bike and then depending on which kit anywhere from 13000 to 17000 and you lose the warrenty on the bike. Unless you buy a Harley Tri-Glide which has a 2 year warrenty with option to add years to it but the Tr-Glide runs about 36000 out the door with tax & Tags.
i tell em gimmie 23000 and then when people who ask you how much it cost you will have a firm answer
When I'm asked "what's something like that run"?, I answer, "I've had it up to 85mph and I know it will go faster than that"!
I tell them it's not mine I stole it and then just lmao at the look on there faces.. Cause when I tell them the true price that I payed for it thats what they say.
I just tell them that I was in the right place at the right time for once in my life & practically stole mine & tell them what I really paid
I tell them. As most who ask would like one. If there interested I tell them get the money from there Bank or credit union. Then go shopping. Cash talks. I tell them pros and cons. Of each brand that I know about. What Harley Dealer is looking to deal. I can get a new 2011 Black Tri Glide out the door in New Rochell NY for 30K out the Door Thats with TAX and TAGS. NY tax is 8.38% tags around $200. Do the Math. Thats around $27,400 before. Tax and Tags.
I get the question all the time since I ride a rat trike. I just smile and tell them to call me when they are serious about owning one. Most just smile and go their way but there are a few who really push the question and I just tell them. I do know this; trikers are a rare breed indeed. They are a people who are not afraid to be different, not afraid to have fun and not afraid to stand out in a crowd. Its not about how much did it cost but how much fun can a person stand?
When my wife is with me, I just tell them what the bike plus conversion costs and then tell them that I lost track on what my running total is on all the upgrades is...
When she's not, I just tell them the truth. :):D:yes:

Dam, I thought that was Gen. Willam T. Sherman who said that, on his march through Atlanta
I say: Alot! But to my husband I'm worth it!
If I am ask if they could take it for a ride I have no problem telling them NO. I do have some very close friends ( of course M3 can ride it anytime ) that I would allow to ride it. As far as price I tell them that I don't keep track of what I have invested as it would probably scare me. I will tell them the MSRP.
I usually say "way more than I needed to"
I wish I had a dollar for the times I had people ask what it costs to do a bike like mine! Most want to know how it works also. I will tell them what they want to know.
