You have a fine ride,Elliot. Valkyries are excellent machines. I sure loved my 99 Valk. Does yours still have the standard 5.3gal fuel tank or the 7.1gal Interstate unit?
My 97 Valkyrie is basically stock and has the original gas tank. I have had the bike since 99 and have really enjoyed it. I was beginning to ride less because my wife always wanted to go with me and at age 73 and was beginning to feel uncomfortable riding two up. I was fine riding solo but I felt guilty leaving her at home ....... so I got out the check book.
I am in the process of learning to ride the trike and I think I am going to love it, but still learning.
Ride safe

was the paint matched up or was the trike repainted? Also, with doing the conversion how much ( ballpark figure) did the kit cost?
Uncrating the Roadsmith conversion. Simplicity, but a very well engineered and bullet-proof design that has been well tested in the market. Elliot opted for the upgrade, HD anti-sway bar.
You may want the installation manual for a Valkyrie to fit the GL1500 conversion. https://roadsmithtrikes.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/HSC1500-v.4-COMPLETE.pdf
If I didn't already have my Roadsmith TRIKE built, I would of come over to part of town..........
I live in Springfield, Massachusetts (a little too far too travel :titanic:)
