The grounds of the San Jacinto Monument will play host to the reenactment, which recreates the events that led up to Texas winning its independence from Mexico at the Battle of San Jacinto, 181 years ago, on April 21, 1836.

that we stole Texas fair and square...But unlike the Panama Canal which we also stole fair and square we didn't give it back....:clapping::D

Nice! ThumbUp our son Kaden is a huge history nut so we're going to try and make it there ourselves if all goes as planned. :cool: only problem...I'm not a big fan of Houston's traffic :gah:

Son John lives outside Htown and he just tells me to leave early and allow plenty of time to take care of things i.e food,hotels ......looking forward to that trip.....but the traffic can be nuts...
