Route for TT V Ladies Ride
After the weekend and doing a pre-ride, I made a small change in the route. It actually makes it a wee bit shorter, by just a few miles. Anyway here goes:
1. Turn left out of the motel parking lot.
2. Turn right onto Blue Ridge Parkway entrance.
3. Turn right toward Ashville, on the BRP.
4, Turn left toward Hwy 23/74
5. Turn right onto Hwy 23/74
6. Turn right at exit 83
7. Turn left off exit toward Sylva, Hwy 23
8. Turn left on Main Street,
Find a parking space to shop. This little town is very quaint with several shops.
After shoping leave Sylva, one way street,
9. Take a slight right onto Hwy 107.
10. Turn left or right on Hwy 64 (This will be Cashiers,NC. We can eat here, so the direction we turn will be determined by what the ladies want to eat. Good BBQ joint in Cashiers, if you want BBQ.
11. We will leave Cashiers going 64 E
12. Turn left on SR 215
13. Right onto BRP
14. Left off BRP
15. Left onto Hwy 19
16. Right into motel Parking lot. THE END!
Total miles approximate 115 miles of mountain, twisties and curves!
I do have sme rest stops along the way and we can add additional stops , depending on the group. Some may want to shop in Cashiers.
I would like to have a guesstament as to how many women will be doing the ride. I do have some more gals joining us, not sure at this time how many, maybe three or four. If you have any questions, send me a pm...

Re: Route for TT V Ladies Ride
Our ladies who are backseaters are shopping in Cherokee on Friday while we are on the long ride but wanted to ride with us Saturday and saw shopping mentioned on the ladies ride Saturday said sounds like our kind of ride you can take us on that. So ok if we tag along 4 trikes?

Re: Route for TT V Ladies Ride
I have had some correspondence and pm's from several ladies that were interested in a Ladies only ride. This will be our first year for such an event. Our main focus is riding and the shopping part will only be in Sylva, unless we see we have some extra time on our hands in Cashiers. I am really excited about this ride and looking forward to many more women only rides in the future. I might add that Sylva and Dillard both are unique little towns with some nice looking shops. I'm not a shopper, so can't say what is inside those quaint shops, but will find out about the one in Sylva Saturday. You might pass on Cherokee and try out these two little towns instead, especially if your time is limited on the shopping part. Someone on this forum thinks a "tight mini skirt" will get him in....SORRY..but if you have "6 pack abs" and a pair of tight fitting jeans, we could reconsider!:)
