My 2007 Goldwing with a champion kit has the lower trunk cable attached to the left side compartment lever under the top trunk and it locks with the key or remote like the top trunk does.

Thanks for the reply.
I have a 2010 Heritage ST - no top trunk. There is no locking mechanism anywhere.
Was hoping someone had figured out a way to lock the cable pull for the few times I might want to secure items.
Discreet placement of the cable for sure .... but you've already done that. Our GL1500 trike's cable pull is disconnected at the lever when the top trunk is locked .... doesn't help you.
What I also have added is a "lock box" secured to the floor of my trunk at front that has it's own small padlock for times I may want to secure something.
I'm not familiar enough with your setup to suggest further, discreet cable if discreet enough should do the trick? Maybe hiode cable even "more better" and use it as back up, but configure a electrical activator / lock pull?
Or a hasp and pad lock ..... chromed or polished stainless steel ..... with engraving maybe?
