Re: Front Wheel Bearing??
Remove the front wheel. Put your finger inside the center of each bearing and roll it. If it feels like sand grit or is loose in the race then it is bad. 2009 through 2012 INA front bearings has issues. The tolerances have been reprocessed now and this is no longer an issue with the new bearings.
If you had a two wheel bike you can hear it howling like a loud ghost when riding high speed cornering.. (Whooooooooooooo) or in a straight line it will feel like you are running over rough road surfaces or gravel. If it is real bad you will feel something like a bump in the road yet the road is perfectly smooth.
Bearings are inexpensive. Change them even if you think they are still good. (This is my opinion and may not be yours. I'm just cautious.)
Re: Front Wheel Bearing??
I've had that bumpy smooth road feeling for about a week now. Thought it was my imagination at the time. Went back to the dealer today and will have new bearings installed tomorrow. Guess I'll ride nice and slow to the dealer. I would hate for things to come apart at highway speeds. Thanks for the feed back.
