Does anyone know if a svda distributor will work with a Brosol 30/31 carb on a single port motor. I have a 1600cc dual port with a Solex 30/31 carb and it works. It pulls enough vacuum but I don't know if the single port will. I The motor has the 009 distributor in it now and it runs fair but still has the little stumble. Any suggestions.

Easy way to find out is swap distributors from dual port to single port and drive it. 009 and SVDA distributor stems should be the same.
Yeah that's probably what I need to do. I guess I could do that and check for total advance. Thanks for the info.On my dual port the carbs pulls 10 inches of vacuum and it has a port on the intake just below the carb and I checked it and it pulled 21 inches of vacuum.
