How many of you Harley Trike Converts have kept your Jiffy Stand intact? I get a kick out of extending mine before I get off my Trinity LLS Conversion. It’s a good conversation starter for those that ride conversions. Just thought I’d ask.

Early on when the Cam-Am Spyder came out some of the owners were putting a kick-stand on the Spyder as a joke/conversation piece...:laugh:....:Shrug:...

The shop who installed mine removed it. I probably would have anyway but I can see how it would get some questions.
Pitch it.....you already have enough for a conversation starter with just the trike. Makes the trike look like you threw it together and didn't bother to remove something that is completely useless.
Could you hang a helmet on it???? LOL

I was told years ago by John Lehman that leaving a side stand on a trike conversion seems to indicate a lack of confidence in the construction.
Maybe it would break the ice for an semi-introvert that has a difficult time asking someone where the bathroom is...:Shrug:

I don't know about any of that........But one thing i do know, When i had Harley Two wheelers.....There was no way in Gods green earth would/could i call my kick stand a [COLOR=#dda0dd]''Jiffy''[/COLOR] stand....I Smoked Lucky's not Virginia Slims....:D.....

This is correct.:laugh: They left nice little circles on the cement when the godam thing wouldn't start. You'd kick your brains out till you were gaspin for air. Then when you didn't think you could kick anymore it would chuff. Well then you figured just one more would do it. But it was just playin with ya.:xzqxz:

Maybe they didn’t remove it because it’s no longer John at the helm. I’m thinking I should remove it.

When I was out of breath I’d reach over and push the electric starter button.
I kept my jiffy stand on to remind anyone looking at it of it's roots .
I’m kind of thinking the same thing.
If you remove the stand.....You will void the warranty ....;)....
I have a 2013 superlow that I converted (started with a DNA axle and went from there) one of the first things I did was to remove the jiffy stand, why pull around the extra weight and wind resistance?
