Eats If Traveling The Blue Ridge Parkway
If you travel the Blue Ridge Parkway, consider eating at Christa's. It is on Highway181 about 200 yds off the parkway near Linville Falls area. Exit MM 312 at Pineola. She has fantastic plates, deli sandwiches and daily made breads and deserts. The place is a regular stop for me as I travel the area.
I am not connected in any way with the resturant, only sharing my experiences with lovely people and great food fare. You will find many locals as well as bikers who like me stop for a break.

Re: Eats If Traveling The Blue Ridge Parkway
You cant beat the Blue Ridge Mtns to include the Shenandoah. High temps this year near Linville has been 75. Yesterday it got to 67....Nice! The past two days I have seen 4 to 1 more bikes and trikes to cars on the Parkway.

Downtown Boone - 6 Pence Pub (downtown and bike friendly)
Little Switzerland - Little Switzerland Cafe (lots of bikes coming and going)
Both places have patio dining so the diners can observe the passing activity and the food was really good. I think the specialties at each place were sandwiches.
