exhaust trouble
Here is my continuation of 2015 flrt exhaust problems. I install the legend lift and it work fine , but the Z pipe had to be squeezed some to avoid hitting the frame. I also installed a brand new set of 444 progressive shocks specific for my bike 2015 flrt. After installing the shocks the Z pipe was hitting the rear frame, and the exhaust tube could not be mounted because it was hitting the rear axle. I call Revzilla and they claim the shocks were fine for that bike. I call Dennis Kirk they were not aware of any problems. Well in my short 70 years I have seen weird stuff and heard people promise the moon. So I decided to remove the DK legend rear lift and install the OEM lift that came with my bike. After two hour for a one man operation my problems was resolve. My bike has good clearance both axle and z pipe.So my friends Beware of so call great technicians that claim to be right. I can assure you that if you buy the progressive 444 , 13 1/2 in. shocks , and you have the DK comfort rear lift you will be very disappointed like I'm right now. I'm happy cause I got it fixed. So just beware!

Too bad you couldn't get both products to play nice and work together. But need a point of clarification. DK Custom Products makes a lift kit as does Legend Suspension. They are NOT the same. So just wondering which you have. Also DK makes a Comfort Lift specifically to work with their 14" ProAction shocks.
Might want to give them a call and explore if you may have further options to make the shocks work with a lift kit. Good luck and keep us posted please.

I contacted both DK and Revzilla, and explained the problem, and my solution. However I hope it didn't land on deaf ears. I'm good now my trike runs and feels right. Just waiting for good weather. I hope and pray no one goes through what I did. It cost $$$ which I don't mine when things fall into place and work as they should. Thank for you ears!
