Thanks Ulflyer: I just wanted some educated- experienced feedback. We are all motorcyclists and need to able to talk to each other not just promote a specific vehicle. I have had over 30 motorcycles and there are pro and cons for each and they have to fit the rider.

Presently have a 98 Fatboy with a DNA /Paughco trike conversion, a Dyna Superglide with a sidecar, 2013 Spyder RS S SE5 and recently added a 2018 Slingshot SL with gps add on. Fatboy is sold. Spydef might be sold. The Slingshot is just that good. Every ride is fun. Last weekend I hathe pleasure ofing a Ferrari 512 BBi and a 427 ERA Cobra. The slingshot beats them all. It is just so much fun!
Still thinking about a Slingshot. I sold the Spyder. Bought a Piaggio Mp3 500 three wheel trike, from a friend. We will see-it is an unusual vehicle, it leans like a motorcycle. I am taking it on a 600 round trip next week. I still have 2 regular motorcycles.

Neat little machines , I would always be amazed on how the messengers scooted around traffic in Manhattan with them.......

Before age made me give up bikes, I went thru several 400,500,650 scooters and most can do anything about as well as any other two wheeler, of any size. A friend of mine rode the snot out of a 500 Piaggo scooter and could out ride most of us. I think you'll love it. :)

Also have a Dalem 250 scoot I use at the glamp. Picked it up for $100 . Got a contact in Korea for parts . Only thing I don’t like about it is the seat is terrible, as was the MP3. Had a Russel seat made for the MP3 . And WOW - what a difference a good American saddle can make :clapping:.
Thanks guys-the goal is to pass on information-not to defend a brand. So far the MP3 is working fine and I have gone on two rally trips with it. However no one will wave at me,..... its a lonesome life, I think they do not know what it is. At the Moto Guzzi rallies there was a lot of interest. Jim

If you don't wave to them :wave4:, They won't wave back to you.:wave4:......:D....
Here’s another wave :wave4:
Speaking of Slingshots... I just took a test ride in one this mooing , Only about 20 miles of un-escorted testing.. And my only complaint was the windshield was too low...
Other than that it was fun to drive....And being that i lost 25 or so pounds since the last time i tried one, I got in and out of the drivers seat with out any problems...I have a big decision to make real soon, About what my next 3 wheeler is going to be...
Kudos on the weight loss, I'm trying but I ain't getting there. Sling Shot, now there's an interesting machine and a head turner. Good luck on your decision.

The decision is almost being made for me....One Thing though since the 60's this will be the first time i wont have a bike like-machine in my garage....If i do go with the Slingshot...

So, then you are thinking of trading rather than adding another vehicle to the garage?

Yep.......
I'm going to have to test ride a Vanderhal before I make ANY decision. My time on 2 wheels is getting very short and I'd rather be on or in a 3 wheeler before I drop my 2 wheeler at some stop sign or light. This thing just seems much more sporty than a Slingshot. The $$$ seem to be in the same neighborhood for what I'd want in either. But I really like the looks of the Vanderhal.
