Bushtec Introduces Hitch to Fit 2014 Indian Chieftain

July 5, 2014 (Jacksboro, TN) - Bushtec, the motorcycle industry's finest hitch manufacturer and distributor, has engineered the first aftermarket hitch to fit the 2014 Indian® Chieftain™ motorcycle. Bushtec's newest hitch will be available in late July.

Gary Sipes, Bushtec Vice President of Sales and Marketing, recognized the demand for a line of hitches to fit the newest Indian® models. "We were getting calls from people who ride Indian® bikes and wanted to haul a trailer. The increased demand drove us to make the customer happy. While we can design a hitch in-house to fit individual motorcycles, we knew we needed to manufacture a line of hitches especially to fit the Indian® brand."

Bushtec's signature hidden hitch system was modified slightly due to the stylized fenders and the saddlebag design of the latest Indian® Chieftain™ model. The semi-hidden hitch mounting will accommodate either a pin or ball coupler. Consistent with the Bushtec line of premium motorcycle trailer hitches, the stainless steel locking system with dust cover and hardware are available. The semi-hidden hitch to fit the 2014 Indian® Chieftain™ will be introduced at $399 for the pin system, $319 for the ball system, and the wiring harness will be priced at $128. Bushtec is currently developing hitches to fit the Indian® Chief® Vintage, and the Indian® Chief® Classic.

Bushtec manufactures hitches and wiring systems to fit over 100 styles of the most popular motorcycles and vehicles on the road. In addition to the production hitches available, custom hitch systems can be designed to fit any vehicle. All of the Bushtec products, including hitches, Bushtec trailers, Bunkhouse camper trailers and Trigg convertible trike kits are produced in the Jacksboro, Tennessee manufacturing facility.
