Re: Insurance
I have been a loyal customer for progressive for many years. I received a email telling my I had received a lower rate for being a preferred customer. I just added my 10 model CSC trike and removed a 2011 Victory cross country. When I got my bill it had gone up to $2,6** for 4 bikes with $1,000 deductible.
Called a friend and gave him the run down. The first thing he said that's outrageous. $250 deductible, $5,00 in accessories, more coverage. $994 a year.
He said with your diving record, age, being a home owner, married Progressive should have gave you a lot more discounts. Oh it even covers any and all passengers.
Good bye progressive
There has been several that progressive is no longer leading the way with discounts.
I am on a lot of forums and I have been hearing this a lot lately.
It is a good practice to check around every time your premiums come due.

Re: Insurance
I was in the exact same boat as dirtbobber. I was a Progessive customer for years and had all of my Harleys and my Victory insured through them. Yesterday I was shopping around for insurance for my new 2012 TriGlide and I got quotes from both Progressive and Foremost. Foremost came back at half the cost of Progressive for the exact same coverages, deductibles, and discounts.
