Tramp millage??
2008 c50 Tramp. Having some fuel issues, I have replies from Lee which was great help. Going to start Monday or Tuesday to check things out. My question... If anyone else has a C50 Tramp could you give me a idea of how many miles you get on a tank of fuel. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Gas is so cheap don't sweat the small stuff.
I have a 1999 Honda Valkyrie Interstate (6 cyl) with a Lehman Predator Trike and a 7 gallon tank. A fill up costs around $15 and I only get around 25-28 MPG. You probably spend that much on lunch for 2 people. Just enjoy the ride.

I will say it's hard to enjoy the ride when your destination milage is greater than your fuel range.

I think the Op was asking not MPG but how far can the Tramp go on a full tank before you have to gas up?..He was running out but it still had a gallon left in the tank ??

Greg, did you add a 3 gal. Belly Tank to the Valkyrie? If so are you pleased with the way it operates?

A Honda Valkyrie Interstate comes standard with a 6.9 gallon tank. A belly tank I don't think it will fit because of the swingarm on a trike.

Just acquired and put 500 miles on a C50 Tramp, yesterday. At present, it features a full size wind shield. It seemed I was getting around 30 mpg; at around 110 miles, the final fuel bar indicator would start flashing. The tank is bizarrely wide- yet only holds 4 gallons; the weird shape makes for tedious topping off. Others here have reported getting over 40 mpg- I’m a bit skeptical; the high end of the speed range shows rapidly diminishing returns- “crank all you want, buddy- this is a fast as I go”; I dropped from indicated 80 to 70 from one tank to the next without seeing any clear benefit in fuel economy.
