Back on two wheels
Sold the Tri-Glide.....I had bought it in 2018 to try to keep the wife happy riding due to the arthritis in her hips. It worked for a while, easier for her to mount/dismount and a bit more comfortable on the road. Eventually, however, the arthritis progressed to the point she no longer desires to ride. My riding has decreased also as I have aged, and I could no longer justify having a $30,000 motorcycle just sitting (and paying insurance on it) and getting maybe 1000 miles/year. Being that I do still want the opportunity to do that 1000 miles/year, I went to my local dealer and worked a down trade, 2010 Heritage and $21000 in my bank account. I can justify a $7000 motorcycle that only see my low mileage.........
I am really enjoying being back on 2 wheels, BTW, and I hopefully will see more than 1000/year for a few years until it just becomes too much......
YMMV

I have a hard time thinking I am going to sell my Electra Glide. I’ve had it new since 07. It’s got 111000 miles on it so I wouldn’t get much for it. My wife said why don’t you sell it, sell the 14 Tri Glide and buy a new Tri Glide?.. got me thinking though. She said then buy you a small bike you can tinker on and hop on for short local ride… I love her…
