Hi John! Welcome to TrikeTalk from the Texas Hill Country!
Do you plan on triking the Vulcan Nomad? I had a 2009. I would have probably triked it later but had already let it go by the time I found trikes.

Welcome to the Gang from Western Colorado.
Welcome from Missouri!
Thanks for the welcome. No don't plan on triking the Nomad as I haven't come across a good conversion for a 2008 1600D. I'm looking for a a trike, probably aGold Wing with Lehman Mark 11 conversion.

My husband’s trike was a 2008 GW Lehman Monarch II. It was the first trike we bought. It had been triked brand-new at the dealer but the original buyer decided he didn’t like the way it handled so we bought it from him with only 2217 miles on it. We put a 4-1/2* rake kit on a couple of weeks after the purchase and it handled beautifully.
I drove that trike home and immediately started looking for a trike for myself. I found a look-alike trike with the MotorTrike independent suspension and bought it for myself. When it came time to sell one or the other I was really on the fence which trike to keep but decided on keeping my MotorTrike since we had set it up for my personal creature comforts. Being both drivers neither of us rode the passenger seat so I can’t attest as to how the passenger comfort would be on the solid axle Lehman vs the independent axle MotorTrike.
Half the fun is researching and looking....hope you’ll have one in-hand soon!
:wave4:John, Welcome from SW Arkansas.
Thanks for your insights. A Motor Trike conversion could work for me too, but was wondering why there is not a sub forum for Motor Trike conversions on Trike Talk. There seems to be one for many of the other popular conversions. Do you know why? ...and I agree with you, half the fun is researching.

Welcome to TT... Check under "other trikes" in the sub forum. https://www.triketalk.com/forum/threads/50613-Motor-Trike
Also use the "search"
Bill is right... use the “Search”. Try typing in Motor Trike in the empty white box on the upper right of this screen.
Quite a few threads come up about MT - and they refer to both Harley and Gold Wing. I don’t know why there is not a dedicated Motor Trike forum...its a common kit.
