It has been a couple of years since we had BFCC, so I did forget. I have something a lot more important going on now!!!
Not sure it will happen again. No one down there wants to organize it. Some great rides there in the Hill Country. We rode down from Ohio 3 times for it,2021 was bad timing for us. They had it in April & the weather here was terrible & we also had to be home to have a new roof . In the past it was held in Sept I think. Hoping for late May this year, but who knows. Will see what happens.
The first time I went to Kerrville for a Trike Talk gathering was in 2015, it started on October 16.

The ride dates were traditionally the first or 2nd week of October.
Then there were those who asked that it be moved up to avoid bad weather on their way home. It was held the last weekend in September. It was very hot.
Whereupon there were those who wanted the ride moved to spring. We cautioned that the weather here is very volatile in the spring..many storms and much rain.
As well, it turned out that a few people could not come due to the weather. We did catch an envelope of time for the ride that was fairly decent weather…a little chilly and a few sprinkles. We had a great group of people come.
Time has flown by and it seems like just a couple of weeks ago we had the April ride… everybody has been busy.
Maybe give it a little more time and things will come together… or … if there is a need to get it on the table so soon feel free to start heading it up.

The weather gods were very kind to us in Kerrville last April. As it happened, our rides were sandwiched between the big freeze and torrential rains. We were lucky. Riding weather was great. There were a few morning sprinkles that lasted mere minutes. This was my 1st Kerrville ride and it was fabulous. But I don't think I would want to gamble on having good riding weather that time of year again. Just my uneducated thoughts..... Jim

Amen Jim.. It was not good up here. Rained almost every day. I guess ya don't need to plan ahead when you live there . Rest of us do. I may just go down late May by ourselves. Someone will prob come over to ride, some won't . Some never finish the rides anyway! Rather a little heat than rain. May should not be too hot, then we can continue on West. Have a safe ride in AZ.

I went in 2010 and 2011 when it was the Texas trike reunion, not TrikeTalk at that time. First trip it only rain 3 out of 4 days mainly after 5pm. Rained at least 2-3 inches and was clear the last afternoon for the picnic. Mud was terrible the second day and most secondary roads had barricades up until about noon because of flash floods. Second trip was absolutely beautiful! No rain and a little chilly the day we left. The rides were great as the locals new the higher roads to take to miss the muddy roads and places to eat for the first trip. The blue bonnets are beautiful and the trips back then were during the spring bloom season. Tomg

We attended a couple of the Texas Trike Reunions when it was held in Kerrville. That is a completely different group of people from the TrikeTalk folks.
They still have that ride… I believe it was this year’s ride I read where they headquartered out of Fredericksburg at the Peach Tree Motel. Seems like they held it in April.
We got onto that through the Gold Wing Forum, sub topic of Trikes, right after we got into trikes from 2-wheelers.. we attended 2012 and 2013. I think they generally moved that ride info to a select group on Facebook.
One thing about Texas weather… wait a minute…it will change.
