Scooter Trike
I was visiting my MT dealer recently, and saw this in the showroom. Not sure of the scooter "brand" name, but it's from China (of course), is a single cyl, 4 stroke, 276cc, automatic w/ reverse, liquid cooled, belt drive, mega mpg, 60 mph. Burgundy, white or black. Drive away price $5500. Comes in as a scooter, they convert it to a trike. 2 sold so far (just started doing this). If anybody wants other info, PM me for their shop info. I have no stake in this, just thought it was interesting.
Re: Scooter Trike
I have the 2 wheel version of this. I bet it would be a blast. My 2wheeler will get to 40 in 7 sec and easly cruise at 55 on any road or terrain. Tops out at 68Mph So Even if the trike cuts that back a little it would still be a ton of fun. Gets 70 MPG. Great on back roads and in town with its Automatic CVT.
You can buy a used CF Moto 2 wheeler for about $1,200 the kit is $3,000
Like to learn more about the one you mentioned . Got more info?
Marketed under several names...I haven't been fond of the "Chinese Scooters" either in the past, but there are getting to be some well-stocked Distributors and Dealers (Scooters and Parts) here with Decent Mechanics on duty. It has increased Folks out riding in much larger numbers because of the "Entry Prices". Some, eventually get more serious and move up to more expensive "Main Stream" Scooters, Motorcycles, and Trikes. I have a few Friends that are perfectly content with Their "Chinese Knock-offs" and just keep riding/repairing/modifying Them....adding Riders to Our Sport is a Good Thing.....ThumbUp
