Not ready for a medical scooter yet
Hello everyone,
I am from The San Francisco Bay Area, newly retired in good health & mobile. It's a pleasant surprise to land here while searching for a trike as an alternative to motorcycle/scooter.
Similar to typical newbies, have many questions & concerts, but don't know where to start so I joined & included my profile below. Thank you in advance for your contributions in sharing experiences & comments going forward.
I have not ridden a trike since taking off the training wheels in early childhood.
Test ridden an adult tricycle (single gear) while visiting local senior community events, had steering control issues but perfectly fine with two wheels.
Have Class 4 license since The ‘80s and had ridden mostly under 500cc both manual & automatic on non freeway until Y2K, then stopped riding completely.
Start riding again since the beginning of The Pandemic for the sake of social distance.
Currently riding a Vespa GTS250 fully automatic, not confident & feeling safe in balance.
Maybe trike is the solution, definitely look forward to meeting the group here to enlighten me.

Thanks. Have a safe & happy riding every day.
