I have been tossing around the idea of making a rear bumper for the Cobra CSC trike. ( also the Daytona and Volusa )
Looking for what interest there is in a rear bumper for CSC trikes.
Thanks,
Chuck

I would be very interested, but it would have to look really good. Some of the ones I have seen look like they belong on the back of a model T.
There is one for the CSC it's a lightbar and the cost is something in the region of $500ish.(unpainted)
The "LIGHTBAR" is not a bumper.
That is the reason I have a trailer hitch on the back to offer a little protection.

I agree. Universal and they will buy.
I also have the plans for the bumper for the Roadsmith;
APPLICATION: HT1800, HSC1300/1800, HDT trike conversions
PRODUCT: Chrome Nerf Bumper
A nice looking Chrome Bumper that would work with a trailer hitch on a Daytona would be outstanding!
I am working up the prototype and hope to have one to trial fit fairly soon.
My goal is to have a nice looking bumper that will fit the Cobra and Daytona CSC conversions.
I will post prototype photos once I have one and see what ya all think,
Thanks
Chuck
Go for it Chuck. Just try and keep it priced so the average person can afford it.I would love to have a nice chrome Bumper.
Chuck, Don't stop at CSC, work in another brand <img src="images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" /> I have seen a Nerf type bumper on a Venture kit like I have, and wanted it so bad I could taste it <img src="images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" /> <img src="images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" /> It looked very much like the Nerf that I have on my MT. Problem was that I couldn't find the guy to talk to him on where it came from.<br />
<br />
If your thinking about the Nerf Style I think it will be popular..
Excuse me 07BlueCSC. That IS what we call a bumper over here. Lost in translation I think....... ;) If someone is gonna rear end you I don't think your towball or any bumper is gonna save you mate.............
make it universal so we can set it off and on the ball of our hitches---price it right and they will sell
Update
I pretty much have the mount brackets worked out, made wood prototypes on the CNC today. This will be a tube bumper.
I will post pre chrome pictures when available.
I know,, Patience,, just interested in your progress on the development of the CSC Daytona Bumpers. Just had the kit installed on my Street Glide and just don't understand why CSC doesn't offer one?? and Chrome is good!!!
So what is final project going to fit ? Did you go for a "universal" trailer hitch style or ?

I have been in contact with the place that is going to bend the tubing, they are bending a prototype for me now I hope to get it next week or soon thereafter.
when I get the tube I can mock it up and get chrome pricing.
Thanks for asking,
Chuck

This particular unit I am making to fit the CSC kits for Honda and Harley.
I have also started on a design for Champion trikes on the Honda VTX's, I have the made some for gl1800 Champion kits.
Cant wait to see these Chuck. I think you'll sell a lot of them. ThumbUp
Chuck, I have an 1800VTX, would be interested. The receiver is already on the trike.
same here if it is a removable hitch mounted style
