Re: 4.3 trike steering question
update. Ive had the trike on the road now for a month. Little bugs here and there, The steering is working but i think this winter i will build a set of leading axle forks. I have a very slight drift to the right. Kind of annoying on back roads but not so on highways. Thinking crown of road?? All in all very satisfied with trike. passed a NH sticker with no problems, the new 17 mm cylinder hand brake solved the rear brake problem. Now trike stops super. will update and problems as they happen.
very easy to check the pull / crown
take it on the high way or road where the crown is to the left... if bike pulls left you have your answer....
my bet is it will pull left
it DOES make a difference
you can make a compesator for that.. here are 2 examples one has the linear actuator hooked to one spring so it holds the weight of the trike all the time other is hooked to both shocks so u dont have that issue..... if i am on a fairly straight road i can steer with the lean switch
