Whats my trike worth
Hello, I haven't been here in years, glad to see y'all are still around. I'm 78 and have back problems so I need to sell my trike. I don't have a clue how to post pics here but will try. I have a 2005 Harley Ultra Glide/Lehman trike with 43,000 miles on it. It looks and runs like new. I don't know what's going on with the trike market. Are prices up like every damn thing else? Well no luck on posting a pic, will try again and see if my wife can help. Thanks in advance for your input.

I would say $15000 ish… maybe a bit more. Now finding the buyer…I might be a bit high

First to post an item for sale on this web site you need to be a GOLD CLUB paid member. See details on forum page.
Second Your trike is worth what you can get out of it. Because of the year and mileage, it will be hard to drum up a buyer. Cycle Trader and any local sale places I would suggest also to be considered. Even Park it by a well-traveled road if possible. I would start, like suggest in the other post at $15k, but be prepared to take maybe even down to $10k.
Good Luck

The other thing has there being any upgrades done to the motor or is it all stock. Those it have rear disc brakes or is it drum. These things along will make a big difference on the asking, selling price.

The motor has had cams and a tune done, I think the pipes are stock but has had breather fixed so it can breath better. The Harley shop did it, I'm not that knowledgeable. It does have disk breaks in the rear and it has the mechanical reverse gear. It has a duel fan oil cooler mounted below the voltage regulator. I have love Jugs cooler installed. Headlight and fog lights have LED blubs installed and front turn signals are LED. Way too much chrome to discuss. Stock radio/CD player was replaced about 2,000 miles ago with same, CD player quit. Repaint of Lehman portion by Treys Paint Shack, West Columbia, SC due to paint scratches and scuffs by first owner (never wrecked). 3M paint protection installed. Runs and looks like new, everything works except the oil temp gauge, it needs a sending unit, gauge is good. I am sure I am forgetting things but that's all I can remember at this time. I am not listing it for sale here, don't want to break any rules. I appreciate everyone's help.

I just sold my 2009 Tri Glide in April before I purchased my new one. I advertised on Craigslist (Md area) and sold it pretty quick. Considering what I got for mine sounds like what " Gorilla's" price comment may not be far off. Also being in southern climate as you are I would think is a plus. Try to find somone who can help ya with pics cause that's a must.....good luck.

Craigslist, Facebook marketplace and Cycletrader would be the best way to get local buyers. Beware of the scammers though they’re a pain in the A$$.

Thanks for the info. I'll try to cull the scammers, there will be a learning curve.

Posting a picture here won't work if you're not a gold club member.

For the last decade Ive put Harley's I wanted to sell on consignment at the dealership. Part of it was I reached the age where I just dont like people. The other part is I was on the road all the time. I never made a killing at it but it was fair. The best part was knowing the bike was going to someone that appreciated it. Its how I partially financed my Freewheeler in '18 since I pay cash for any vehicle purchased- except for over the road tractors. That last one was a rider to rider sale.
