I had to go to the first post to see what this is all about, you've been more than patient thru all this and if an installer has ignored you that much for asking a question, he's doing it intentionally ignoring you, once you visit them and if not satisfied contact Roadsmith and complain about him and see what they do for you, if they list someone as an installer they should get involved.
Hey I'm 30 minutes from Springfield, should meet for lunch in a week or so

yesterday I had a friend that weighs approx 230 lbs (yep a big boy) sit on the back of my bike to see if I heard any sounds of a shock motor working... NO sound what so ever! so I know it's not working...

I'm confused. I thought from one of your previous posts that you were not sure you had the Accuride System installed. From this post it appears you determined that you do. Am I correct?

I'm confused as well, but I just subscribe until the final episode. I've posted many times how I'd like 'smooth out' the rides over those bumpy roads, but I've decided it's just me and not the RS. Heck I almost bought a Spyder RTL that has a suspension I've been looking for, but Spyder has it's warts, and I just could not bring myself to make that financial sacrifice.

N
I do not see what you have told me. and have "e" mailed my builder (I'm getting pizz'd off now because he is not answering me or returning my e's) I'm calling him, NOW via landline, and of course being very nice on phone, talking to his staff, and he always seems to be very busy w/ever I call, BUT has of yet, NOT called me back (it's been a good number of weeks now, and no call back....When I call I'm always very, very nice on phone, and never any harsh words, ALL PLEASE & THANK YOU's (I've called maybe four times/BUT he's always too busy to speak to me)
The funny part of this is, BEFORE I had him do the "rebuild", he was always there, never busy, and got to phone faster then a speeding freight train.. He's maybe 2 1/2 hours away from my home, and it's now too cold to ride up there on my bike.. Now that I'm typing this again, I think I'll give him another call ,of course being nice, and see if I get him to speak...If I have to ride up there, I will just have to pull out my "heated clothing" and enjoy the ride.... Life is good!!!
Mike, "thanks" for your help! ThumbUp

I really had to laugh when I read this post. I’ve heard this story many times, myself included. DblTrbl has also had issues with the same builder. A matter of fact, I need to call him again to deal with an issue I am having. He is also about a 2 1/2 hour ride for me.

An experience with a "don't care" builder can cause so much grief that it makes owning an expensive machine unpleasant. Just a general statement, don't know this builder, don't want to, it would cause me lack of sleep.

Count me in with the installer issues. If Roadsmith hadn't been so good about supporting me I would have probably sold it. My problem was/is that since the installer screwed up so many things in 2011 that I would not take it back to him and fixed it myself with Roadsmith's help. I will never buy another trike he has built.

Sadly, a bad builder can give the best brands a bad name. Surprised that RS will even ship this guy a kit.
