Rear shock
I have a rear shock leaking oil on my Champion Trike, has anyone ever changed one, how hard is it to change?
I took the seat off and it looks like there are 3 bolts holding the bracket on. I would like some advice before I start on the change.
Thanks Rex

Shocks are off, now to find new shocks that will fit. This is a SA Trike. Anyone have any suggestions? I have called several places that install trikes and they don't want to give any answers away, unless I ship the trike to them. Some places won't reply to messages left on their phones.

Need your advice!
I got the same problem. Time for new shocks. Champion Solid Axle put on in 2008. Trike kit has 99,XXX miles on it. Bike has 134,XXX miles. They are progressive coil-over as far as I know. What do you have to remove to get to the top shock mounts? Please, please I hope I don't have to remove the body!! And what shocks did you put on? Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I'm going to try without taking the body off. I'm hoping there is enough room on the top mounts.

Good luck Scooter, I didn't have any luck getting them off with body on.

Do not be afraid to remove the body. You may need someone to help lift it off. You will find build instructions on the champion web site. If your bolts are in a tunnel, take the bolt and weld or lock nut, a fender washer and thin bicycle type wrench to the bolt so it can not spin around while you tighten it from below.
Keep us posted on progress!
