Wow Alan! She is getting big! Too cute!!!
This is why I only have small dogs by breed. I don't want a big surprise. Of course if I did end up with one that surprised me a would still love it to death and not abandon it like some do. I hope those folks get exactly what they should.

Me too ... I'm guessing Kira will be about 12-15#. Her Dad was 15# and Mom was 12#.
Maybe just overly loved ... :D

You got that right!
You got to love your pet, (after all, their part of your family)
Ronnie
Today I took Kira on a ride (we do this almost every morning for two reasons, it's in the 70's and mom sleeps until about 9-10) and we went all around town with just a short jaunt on the highway.
When I had my fix, I pulled into Einstein's Bagel's and picked up some bagels for Mom. Hopefully she will be done with the whole lock down due to surgery thing tomorrow, this would entail giving her freedom to drive and do something other than sitting in a recliner in the kitchen. I thought I'd be nice one more time before then.
When I got home, mom was up and wanted a bagel, so, she recommended putting Kira in the yard and let her play while we ate. She's never been out there for any length of time, like 5-10 minutes at a time to do her business. I figured we'd give it a try.
Not one of my better decisions, one of mom's plants bit the dust ... ... also, she was soaked head to toe because she chose to swim in the water bowl ... again ... ah ... the joys of raising a puppy :D

You (and Kira) just brought a great BIG smile to my face. Thanks for making my day brighter..... Jim
Puppies! Gotta love 'em!!!
Puppies can test your patience for sure. And water is just another toy to them.:clapping:;)
She had a vet appointment this morning for her Big Girl shots, DHPP 3 and Rabies. She also is officially registered in Mesa County.
Even though I was taught to never talk about a women's weight, she weighed in at 9#. When I got her she weighed 3.2#. Growing like a weed. She is wearing her Biker harness ... couldn't find a small one in mint green.

Her Mom was 12# and her Dad was 14# ... so ... 13#???? The pet palace should hold her ... if she gets too big, she'll have to sit on the passenger seat.
I once had a Doberman that would ride on the P Pad on my 65 sporty ... he would put his paws on my shoulders and hang on. When I'd stop some where (in those days usually a bar) he would sit on the riders seat and "Guard" the bike ... he was better than insurance, he really loved "his" ride.:D

Back at ya
I left her alone outside for about 20 minutes to let her play. Not my best decision. Heard a crash, opened the door and this is what I found.
