Crazy weather
We are heading to Texas in the am, supposedly to get warm. We only had 2 inches of snow so far in MI, about 20 inches behind normal. Now I see they had snow in Texas. Don't know if I should pack long johns or shorts!
Christmas day was the only snow we got.

It's colder then an well digger's ass, down here in San Antonio. Nights are 30's and days are in the low 50's. This is our 4 week winter, courtesy of the Northern winds blowing down here. Two more weeks and we steadily be in the 70's,

Even southeast New Mexico is cold, we got snow that began around 9:00pm on Saturday and ended before noon on Sunday and the temps have been in the low 30's and even colder. Right now its 21*, cold enough for the melted snow to become ice.

24* right now in Kerrville. Colder than that away from town. Expecting another degree or 2 drop before sun-up.

Wondering who will put the mask on him

All ground hogs that show up here are sedated with a 12 gauge. After that they are free to roam where they please.:) I guess people were really bored to come up with a tradition like that.

They have nothing else to do till the February 14th mating season ...so create a celebration of choice.

John, safe travels to as you head south and I hope temps improve in TX before you get there. Unfortunately we will not be heading south this winter mostly due to covid but also we're really busy getting settled in the new home and the additional garage build project. Fortunately we've had temps way above normal which has allowed the contractor to make good progress on the new garage.
Enjoy your time in the south.
