The 18 and 21 inch tires will have a shorter side wall which will make for a harsher ride, but how much harsher will be up for debate. My buddy did say that when he put 18's on front and rear of his Street Glide he lost some ride quality.

Thanks for the input I think I would be pissed to spend 4k for a rough ride.

Good info Steve, less cushion for the wheel/ tire , I have seen a few cracked wheels on the low profile tire / wheel combo, also shorter tire life, harder to find replacement tires on the road trips also
Clay, I’m very happy after going to 21 front and 18 rears, when I first left the performance machine booth we got a little side road and I thought, man this is terrible, but when I got back to the condo I let some of the air out of the rears and it was much better but still not quite as good as stock. I had always planned on adding the 14” pro action shocks from dk customs and when I got them it was better than stock. Never really had any problem with the 21” front. Originally it came with a metzler but just a couple of weeks ago put a new Michelin commander 3 on the front and it was much better than the metzler. Probably had them on about 11 or 12000 miles. I’m not that far away from you, In kingsport maybe we can meet up somewhere and you can check them out.

Did you rake the front end also?
No, stock rake, haven’t had any problems, haven’t seen any reason for the rake kit, would have to try one that had it to see if I was missing anything.
To me it feels like the steering is a bit easier.

Just added 18” rear and 21” on the front. I’ve only rode 1 up for under 100 miles. Steering feels easier and I haven’t noticed a rougher ride. Planning a 2 up ride soon. I love the stance. A little taller up front and about a 3/4” lift to the rear. I’ll know when I load the bike in trailer if it keeps the pipes from dragging.

Looks good, what wheels are those?
Ed, that’s a great looking bike, love the wheels, my wife wouldn’t let me get the contrast cut wheels, she had to have the all chrome because they had more bling…lol. The bars look great as well, are they 14”?

The wheels are from Coastal Moto. Redemption black cut. A little pricy but I couldn’t decide on a powder coat color and chrome didn’t have any accents. The folks at Coastal are great and easy to deal with. The wheels shipped for free and I avoided tax by not buying them in Florida.
Bike looks great. Even 2 up the pipes should not drag. Mine didn't
