Hey guys, I have a 2010 Trike. LOVE it. It has 9000 miles on it. The problem is I have a leak underneath the motor. I checked the oil level and it's fine. I think the leak getting larger. Any thoughts for the experts? Will it be hard to fix?

You probably need to spray clean it and find specifically where the leak is coming from. I would start with primary cover. Maybe not as tight as can be. Assuming you are sure it is oil you are seeing drip. There is a gas overflow tube.
Is it oil or coolant?
You need to clean everything to determine the source. But as was stated, check all bolts but don't over torque the primary. Another idea. Did you put any 100% synthetic oil in it. That can sometimes create leaks when regular oil won't. Just a thought.:Shrug::Shrug:

It is oil.
Don’t know what ya got, HD or ?
Could be as simple as a drain plug O ring  Clean it dry then check it out.
Have you changed oil recently?

Did you put new washer on the drain plug? Best to put new ones on each oil change, for some machines.

No Sir, I didn't. Do you know the parts number by any chance? I have a HD Triglide Ultra 2010. Thanks so much for your thoughts.

Is that where it's leaking? If not leave it alone. You can get by without replacing it but not too many times. Just no need to do it now if that isn't the source. I've not seen where you've identified the source. Maybe you have but I missed it.

Just trying to figure out where it's coming from. I did tighten oil drain plug it was a little loose. Where can a feller get a correct washer for the bolt?
