i just bought 1989 gold wing conversion was delived sight unseen drove it about a ile hit brakes and they styed lock up not real tight but enough to bring bike to a halt and afte it coole down work fine and evrytime I rode it did it again any ideas

Was any work done on the brakes?
A clogged return orifice in the reservoir and it isn't returning the fluid.
What color is the fluid? Milky? Yellow? If so it was never changed and that would also be the same for the hydraulic clutch.

If after bleeding the brakes you still have the problem Replace the master cylinder
Too often from neglect the old fluid can cause the internal bore to lose free travel ( fluid caught in between the piston seals) this fluid cannot complete the return thru the compensator port thus slowly locking the brakes up
