exhaust trouble
I installed new shocks 444 progressives on my 2015 freewheeler, and also have a DK rear lift on it. my problem now is the z tube that connects to the header, and allows a slip muffler to attach to the Z tube. Well the Z tube is now rubbing on the frame. It is about 3/8 to 1/2 inch above the clearance of the cross member (frame). short from taking a hammer to it, I need to know if there is a Harley or after market Z tube? that will clear the cross member frame.

Not sure, I just tweeked mine with a 3/4 round bar and hammered a horizontal recess in the pipe. Later wondered if I could have slightly trimmed head pipe length and shifted Z-pipe forward. I'm not sure how far the muffler and pipe overlap.

The instructions that came with my DK lift gave three ways to make adjustments if the Z tube contacted the swing arm. Before taking a hammer to the exhaust I’d try those or call Kevin at DK. I put the 14” Pro-Action shocks and different lift blocks on mine last week. Luckily no problems.

Frank, let us know how things worked out. You may have a tip for others. Hope you're back on the road. Beautiful weekend for riding in central Texas.
