Mobile Stallion Technician...
This is a question to all Stallion owners....Would you rather have an experienced Technician that would come to your location or home, to perform maintenance on your Stallion rather than take it to a dealer that really has no idea what they are doing? A tech that is qualified and very knowledgable to perform this work at your location? You get tired of driving hundreds of miles to get to a dealer, or get tired of dealing with FORD dealers who do not want to work on the bike? This is a question that has been on my mind for a long time, and wanted to get feedback from the people who drive Stallions. For some it might be worth it, for others it may not. Leave feedback and let us know how you feel about this...
Re: Mobile Stallion Technician...
Although my Ford dealer works great for me, I would not mind another option. Sure, if it was covered under warranty. If the cost was reasonable why not.
Food for thought, here was a tag line from a fellow on another forum:
Re: Mobile Stallion Technician...
sounds like a terrific idea to me. Don't see how it could be cost effective with all that traveling.

It's not a bad idea at all. I think it would be the most valuable if you encounter a problem on the road and do not know where to get local help.
Re: Mobile Stallion Technician...
I thing it's good , it would be like the mobile RV repair men , & I have used them more than once.
Re: Mobile Stallion Technician...
I think it would be great service to all Stallion owners. As has been said, sometimes it is a huge inconvenience to travel to a qualified service person.
I'm in.

Re: Mobile Stallion Technician...
So were would you station this Guy/Gal ? I think we have maybe 3 in Conn and maybe 10 in New England . He aint gona be too busy most of the time . What is this person going to do from Oct to April ? i was a On Road service man for 8 brands of fitness equipment . I went to homes and business ( Golds Gym, Planet Fitness, LA fitness etc.) all over Conn., W NY , RI , Mass. and I was not that busy. We are talking 1,000's of machines and 100's of home owners and business. You are talking ,what about 1500 Stallions Nation wide? Even if it was 5,000 .
I don't think someone is going to be posted in every state or going to travel a 1,000 miles to fix your water pump.
Re: Mobile Stallion Technician...
love to have tech for the stallions that could help out with questions.....just responding would be a great help...
ford is okay with the ford aspect....but the front wheel and brakes and forks is bike......ford knows nothing...
Re: Mobile Stallion Technician...
That is why everyone needs to contact the factory and speak with Richard. He is the man who can help.
I don't think it would be cost effective. Just my honest opinion....
