New Ride Help
Hi - new to the forum and new to my 2005 Harley Davidson Trike. I need some advice and this forum is real helpful. So - here I go. This is a 2005 1200cc Harley trike - and I want to change to a heel toe shifter. All videos that I've seen have the linkage above the pedal - mine is below the pedal and the peg that the shifter is on now is real short. I'm looking for suggestions and/or help as I really like the heel/toe, but if it's not available for this particular bike, guess I'll just have to get used to it. Thanks in advance for any guidance.
I've attached pics of mine - linkage is below, not on top

Hi Nancy, :welcome:to Trike Talk
Yes this can be done but it will take some fabricating to do
No one I know of is making an out of the box kit for Sportsters
I have seen a few home made set ups. With your set up the first thing to do is flip your current set up 180 degrees Look here first ( not yours but similar)

Next after a flip,

Thank you. Not sure I can do this

Welcome to Trike Talk Nancy!

It can be done but you will need to get a welder fab person to help, or talk to a shop that does custom bikes, either way it wont be cheap.

Welcome to the Forum and Congrats on your New To You Sporty Trike.
We have a heel-toe shifter, specifically designed for Sportsters. You can see details and more photos at this LINK.
Here's a photo of a polished version, we also have them in powder coat black.

I've been running these on my Sporty for 6 years now and would not go back to just a toe shifter.

Hi Kevin
thank you so much for your help - I bought it and my husband put it on today and it works wonderfully. A bit costly - but well worth it. Again - thanks for the help
