A true American patriot and reflected that stance in several of his recordings. The BEST national anthem I have ever heard is the solo he recorded on his fiddle...such a beautiful sound he brought out of that instrument. He had such a variety of songs and SO many of of them I thoroughly enjoy. He will be greatly missed. God rest his soul. 💫🎻

We were blessed here in Happy Valley to have him 4 or five times at Country Jam ... the we started getting the weirdos from the other side of the Rockies and Country Jam went to Sh$t ... I quit going.
