Looking for Input
I came across this and was wondering if this looks like a good deal?
If so, is it gonna be powerful enough to drag my big b$tt up to the top of the mountains?
I also have a lead on a 2001 GL1800, yellow with only 26K miles for $7,500, really clean. I'm thinking maybe ride the 01 for a couple months, like 7 or 8 and then trike it.
What do you guys think? I trust your input ... to a point ... :D

I can't give a review, but I can find one. Everybody has to go with their gut. ThumbUp Seems to be plenty of power there to deliver most needs. Good looking machine.

Nice review ... similar to ones I've read ... I'd like to know if anyone has ridden a trike like this .. I also just got offered a Harley, 2001 Road King (Anniversary, looks like a CVO) ... only 25k miles and cute as a button.

My son-in-law has a 2002 pearl white road king. It is like a giant vibrator, but sweet bike. :D
-
This one has a 103 with work done ... pushing 105 feet of torque ... should make a pretty strong trike.
-
I'm off to my 4th celebration. The road king should make a great trike.

Looks like you have a decision to make Goldwing or HD. Which do you like the best?

Buy a Powerball Ticket ................:D

If you'll be traveling a lot you'll find a lot more Honda and Harley dealers than Suzuki. One more thing to think about...

I had the C90 Lehman trike and enjoyed it very much. I'm six foot and 250lbs. and didn't have any problems keeping up with all my friends, even with a passenger. Can't go wrong with a Goldwing either. Go with your heart.

Buying the Suzuki would be like buying the trike kit and getting the bike and labor free! It would be hard to go too wrong at that price. A lot depends on how quick you want a trike and how much you want to spend. That being said if you really want a "wing"or a Harley you might never be happy with it! Good luck with your decision :D

All I am is totally biased. If it were me and it's not, I'd get me some Harley and trike it. My number 2 choice would be the wing and the Suzuki would be third. That's my opinion and my taste, not yours and I am admittedly biased. I've owned Harleys since the 60's so that may have something to do with it. I have absolutely nothing against any other make, but Harleys are what I love. Your taste may be far different from mine. I put the Suzuki third because as was mentioned, repairs are easier to come by with a Honda and the wing is a well proven platform that makes for a really nice trike............for those that aren't partial to Harley.
-
I've narrowed it down to the wing and the Harley ... I have a few days till discharge ... so something else might pop up.

I think I will ride it as a two wheeler until Oct 17 then trike it if Zook is still up for it ... :D
