Champion Trike kits
Just got a phone call from champion called from #714 793 1360.
Informed me that Champion wants to solve the problem I have with my rear axel assy. leaking. (It is a sealed , non service unit )Told him I have had some rounds with the warranty gentleman, he would NOT warranty it because i installed it.
He is no longer with Champion. A different person is doing customer service, warranty.
Did have a long talk with owner at Cycle stuff in Tennesee, bought the kit with them. Him and I fully understood each other. Was doing him the same way.
That is the only problem I have with trike
ThumbUp :Excited: :GL1800:

Re: Champion Trike kits
ive had constant leaks on my 2011 solid axle kit.
champion sent a new diff assy last Dec.
4k miles later the rt side starting leaking on the new diff assy. It only leaks over 60mph or on curves.... I GOT TIRED OF CLEANING MY ROTOR AND PADS-- I PUT AN ALUMINUM SHEET TO COVER THE ROTOR FROM OIL AND WILL DEAL WITH IT SOMETIME LATER BEFORE WARRANTY goes ... THE DEALER WILL NOT TOUCH IT AGAIN,, THEY HAD IT OVER 3 MONTHS LAST WINTER.. I WILL FIX IT ON MY OWN.
Re: Mr Pinto,, i have talked to him on 2 occasions -- he is a good man.

That is the only problem i have, rear axel assy. Feel like it is fabricated by another company there have production setup for that kind of work.
Loks like very well made, just have a leak.
Mine look like it is coming from a sealed bearing. It is in the middle, not at a wheel.
The designer did a exelent job designing it. Handles great, breaks great, runs down the road in a strait line. 16" wheels.
Would buy another kit, without a axel leak.

Does the rear end have a vent tube in it? If so it could be pluged up.

Re: Champion Trike kits
No it is a sealed unit. No add plug, or check plug
