Hawk in batting cages
Well I was heading over to Lena's to get my morning coffee . As I walk by the batting cages I saw a lot of feathers in the back corner of the cage . Some were outside cage & some were in cage . Didn't give it much thought ,just thought something got a bird for lunch . [coy dog, or hawk ] We have had a hawk around the property for about five years .
On my way back there was two guys in the cages hitting , as I looked up in the corner I saw the big hawk hanging or caught in the net . Stopped the batters , called my son & Joe to get him out . Still don't know how he got in there , but the video you will see makes it look easy to get him out , :clapping:but it wasn't :(

I had one get in my chicken coop outside scratch around area once. One small spot that is open because it's needed to swing a door open. The rest is covered and that sucker found the one and only hole. My chickens went inside and stayed there until I could get the hawk out. They fight hard I want you to know. I got the other door open and manage to push him to the door and once outside he took off. Hope he learned a lesson.:Shrug::Shrug:
