I haven't checked with with Harley shop but I was told they wouldn't fool with it but I may check. We have a shop that handles a few different makes of cycles , I may check with them.today.
I am going to order me a carb gauge today so I will have one.
I am quite sure that the Harley dealer has a balancer. You will probably have to pull the front wheel and tire and take it to them. I would check with the other shop first as they would probably be cheaper. :p
Ah, great idea on ordering the gauge man. It actually is pretty easy to do. Then you'll have it for future tests. Heck, I usually check mine 3 or 4 times during the summer riding months.

2002 motor question
Got the tire issue fixed. The tire was bad. Got a new one on and it does fine. I have come up with something else on the motor. I was wearing a different helmet today that I could hear better with and while I was going down the road I could hear the motor kind of spitting. I couldn't feel it missing tough. Anyone have any ideas. It is a stock 1600cc with weber carbs on it. Thanks
I am quite sure that the Harley dealer has a balancer. Still thinking low speed jets.
Did you ever blow them out?
Dual carb intakes like to come loose. Even if not loose now might have been in the past. Checks gaskets on intake to head.
How long did it sit before?
Clean the carbs?
I had to actually pull the Welch plugs and rod out the low speed idle holes at the bottom of the venturi.
Getting hard to guess anymore without hearing it.
